Helena attended massage therapy school for 2 years in Germany. She moved to Canada in 2013 and started massaging. Her 10 years of experience shows in her ability to preform an excellent deep tissue massage. After working at Alia for 7 years, she became a co-owner of Alia Wellness.
In a treatment from Helena you can expect a strong deep tissue massage, injury treatments, and trigger point techniques. She also goes above and beyond for clients with additional cupping treatments and kinesiology taping.

Ivana completed her training in Serbia in 2014. She moved to Canada 5 years ago, and started at Alia the year after. In 2020, she became the co-owner of Alia. While here in Canada she has also completed her aromatherapy certification.
You can expect a combination of relaxing and deep tissue techniques is sure to release in any pain you are having, to calm the body and mind, and leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed when you leave her treatment. Ivana is able to take a well-rounded and individualized approach to each of her clients.

Dwain’s interest and studies of traditional/natural medicine started 30 years ago while in Australia . First with diet and western herbology and massage therapies , then spending numerous winters in south India studying and receiving treatments according to the ideas of Ayurvedic medicine, and since graduating from the ICTCM of Vancouver in 2000 he has been working closely with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
His time spent abroad, both living and traveling in numerous countries and cultures, has given him opportunities to study and apply different facets of this vast storehouse of Natural medicine.
For the past 18 years he has been living in Italy and Spain. While working in the spa sector, various Thermal centres in Tuscany, co- owning an Organic shop and treatment centre in Ibiza, Spain Dwain has developed an understanding of how to utilize various techniques from different healing traditions to provide an effective treatment plan for his clients condition.
His treatments will thus vary and can include dietary, lifestyle adjustments, exercise and medical Qi Gong classes, both herbal and nutritional recommendations, acupuncture and body work.

Dr. Kevin Lai is an integrative/holistic physician. He is a B.C. Registered Doctor of Chiropractic and Registered Acupuncturist. Kevin is also a Certified Nutritionist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Personal Trainer.
Dr. Lai received his doctor degree from The University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. He worked in many prominent clinics in the Portland area, and gained an extensive amount of experience. Kevin then moved back to his hometown in Vancouver, B.C. and has been providing care to his patients since. After settling in Vancouver, he obtained his degree in Acupuncture. When he was younger, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc Nutritional Sciences and Food Processing Sciences Double Major) from University of British Columbia. Dr. Lai believes what we eat/drink daily is tremendously important to our health.
When it comes to integrative medicine, Dr. Lai believes in the traditional belief of an all-around true holistic practitioner, where the summation of different treatments in one setting is more effective than jumping between specific practitioners for different needs. This drives him to be excellent in many areas. With Acupuncture and Nutrition he is able to treat more internal organ/diet problems. Kevin uses Chiropractic and physiotherapy modalities to heal external physical problems. Personal training and Strength and Conditioning are often incorporated after Chiropractic for better injury rehabilitation, and achievement of physical goals.
Kevin is experienced at treating various problems of the general population, senior citizens, and athletes with sports injuries. With a passion for helping others, Dr. Lai wishes to improve the longevity, health, and mood of people in the Vancouver area through his knowledge of integrative medicine.

Lifei Xu is a good standing member of the College of Massage Therapy of British Columbia (CMTBC). She believes massage therapy promotes healing and help alleviated musculoskeletal associated disorders.
Lifei is extremely dedicated to her profession and cares for client’s health. She understands no two patients share the exact same condition. At the beginning of each massage treatment session, she assesses patient condition using orthopedic tests to determine underlying causes of the primary condition. She will give her clinical impression and make appropriate treatment plan for the patient. At the end of massage treatment, she provides remedial exercise for patient in order to prevent further or repetitive injuries.
Lifei Xu is experienced with Swedish massage and advanced massage technique, including myofascial release, trigger point release therapy, lymphatic drainage, PNF stretching etc. She is familiar with headache, shoulder pain, lower back pain as well as posture imbalance with many years of experience in healthcare as an asset.
In her spare time. Lifei enjoys training exercise and interested in promoting public health. She is also a current student under ISSA in certified personal training program and acupuncture student in Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese medicine.
Lifei graduated from UBC, major in medical biochemistry and minor degree in chemistry.
Lifei also participated in research of cancer in of Shanghai Cancer institute of Oncogenes and Related Genes. Lifei also worked as the organic lab director in Institution of Plant Physiology and Ecology, Chinese Academy of Science.

Sierra’s love and passion for massage started in Vancouver during her training at Raynor School of Massage Therapy. From a young age Sierra has always shown interest in well-being and helping others. She has been involved in a variety of different activities growing up, and found her passion for dance, which brought her to Vancouver. From living such an active lifestyle, Sierra found the value of massage, and has set out to provide that same care to others.
In her massage you can expect a combination of relaxation, deep tissue, reflexology, trigger point releases, and stretching with massage. Her mission is to provide release and healing to all that she can, and to leave people feeling lighter, and at ease after there treatment.
